We started by asking the simple question: why is it so difficult for people in an extreme situations, such as natural disasters, to get help?
OneArc, previously called GEMS (Global Emergency Medical Supports), started as a group of enthusiastic and talented people wanting to win a competition with a unique idea. Little did we realize that our idea might turn into a reality. After some time, more research, and a few changes to the initial idea, we are on our way to releasing a fully functional app. Now instead of aiming to win a competition, we want to change the way people face disasters.
